School Uniform.

We here in Scoil Padraig Naofa, Cregmore are extremely proud of our school uniform. We wear it with pride. While some schools find it increasingly difficult to maintain a school uniform policy, we are glad to say that this is not the case in our school.

Why? Well first and foremost we love the colour, texture, design and vibrancy of our uniform and we believe the overall look creates a wonderful sense of pride, happiness and well-being throughout the school. The dominant colour is "red" and our crest is something we are very proud of, designed many years ago by a former pupil James Connolly. In addition we wear a pin striped shirt, red tie, black trousers / grey pinafore and dark shoes. Our pupils also have a PE uniform (only to be worn on PE days), consisting of a red sweat shirt, white polo shirt, plain black tracksuit bottoms, (or newly introduced black shorts for the Summer months).. We treat our 6th class pupils each to a crested navy blazer and tie / cravat at a minimal rental cost. The pupils wear the blazer with pride, particularly on the day of their Confirmation.

Finally, I would like to sincerely thank Geraldine at GM Designwear, Claregalway who provide our uniform and who supply garments of top quality.

It is our intention to maintain a strong ethos of representing our school, our families and our pupils well by promoting and wearing our uniform with pride and we ask all parents to support this endeavour.
