The children had an explosive time celebrating science week. We started with each class participating in a variety of fun science activities in the halla. There we many different science experiments including lava lamps, making slime, investigating magnets and coins, creation of oobleck which is both a solid and a liquid. We also gave many of the Cregmore staff members a health check by recording their pulse and blood pressure. We were delighted
to welcome back two pass students Ruth Fox and Niamh McCullagh. They kindly gave their time to the children and active discussion took place about the body. As they are both work in the medical profession, they were great role models to the children of the school. Pupils of fifth and sixth class also presented super scientific facts to all the classes. We finished the week with Mad Scientist Ray who provided fun, laughter and lots of funky hair styles.
