Since Wednesday, October 21st last we have been requested to abide by level 5 Covid-19 restrictions. Unfortunately this means we can not visit our elderly, the sick, those living alone and our beloved family and friends.
Therefore, Mr Kennelly decided in keeping with the spirit of support, empathy and love, the school would supply a beautiful card for each pupil and teacher to write to someone special that they may be missing.
Well Done to all the boys and girls in our school community who wrote letters to someone special they are missing during these difficult times. The children really enjoyed taking the time out from their busy day-to-day activities to write a few words to their loved ones. A sincere thanks to our postman Brendan who collected all the letters from the children in school today to be delivered near and far. We hope those receiving the letters will get as much joy from reading them as the children did writing them.
