Cregmore National School

Letter to Parents; Friday May 8th

09-May-20

Dear Parents, Guardians, Pupils and Colleagues,

I hope you are all well ans safe and that the recently proposed easing of restrictions going forward is giving you all hope and confidence for the future.

The past week was rather uneventful but yet again we must appreciate the fact that the weather has been very kind to us, allowing us the opportunity to spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. Every single day I receive some form of correspondence from members of our school community, and this pleases me greatly.

The two most significant developments this past week were the postponement of the Leaving Certificate Exam and the announcement that schools will not reopen this school year. Needless to say we will prepare booklists, school reports and any other relevant documents and post them to you in mid June. You will also receive your school photos in the very near future.

I hope you are all coping satisfactorily with the school work provided and that you are continuing to maintain social distance and wash your hands regularly. The end of the journey is nearing and we don't want to have any setbacks.

Please take a look at the recently uploaded video on our website and its still not too late to send in a diary, a picture of a boat or indeed a short video.

Enjoy the weekend and be kind to yourselves and to each other.

Kind Regards,

Joe
