Fire Evacuation Drill

05-October-21
Fire Evacuation Drill

As part of our Fire Safety Week initiative, a routine fire evacuation drill took place throughout the school. The purpose of any fire drill is to ensure that in the event of a fire:

  • People who may be in danger act in a calm & orderly manner
  • The escape routes & fire assembly points are used in accordance with a predetermined & practised plan
  • Evacuation of the building is achieved in a fast, efficient, safe & orderly manner

Mr Kennelly spoke to the pupils about fire safety strategies and fire prevention techniques. All pupils are to be commended on how well they conducted themselves throughout this important, significant event.

Remember: Safety First is Safety Always!
